CURRENT SERMON SERIES
What is “the church?” We have so many ways that we could attempt to answer that question. We could talk about Sunday worship. We can talk about the mission of the Church. We could describe the Church as an organization. In the New Testament, however, there are four key words to describe the Church. These words are Ecclesia (called out ones), Oikos (household), Soma (body), and Nymphe (bride). Our goal in studying these four words from the 1st century, is to use them to deepen our understanding of what it is to be the Church in the 21st century.

Looking for a silent night at home? Or maybe a night to do some Christmas shopping? To help you with that, Riverview is hosting a kids Christmas night at the church. From 5:30-8pm we will play games, do crafts, eat pizza with healthy sides, and learn about the amazing story of how Jesus came to us as a newborn baby.

NEW SERVICE TIME
Christmas Toy Drive
The MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS) toy drive will be collecting new and gently used toys at the beginning of November. Donations can be brought to the church from November 8th-12th. FREE toy distribution will be the following week: November 16-17.
Distribution will be on Thursday (Nov. 16) from 9am-1pm. Then on Friday (Nov. 17) from 9am-noon and 5-8pm. No pre-registration is required, just come to the church during those "shopping times." If you are interested in helping or have questions about our "shopping days" feel free to contact the MOPS leadership.
